Laititude : Look out for nirvana in food...

I was out for a movie with family. After the movie, we had planned for lunch. Sadly, the venue was still undecided. So I came to the rescue here. I and my family were heading towards Pind Balluchi, when this awesome restaurant clicked in my mind. Yes, the name is latitude.
The restaurant is located in Hotel Mosaic, sector-18, NOIDA. It is a four star hotel, a part of the Shipra hotel group. I must say that the restaurant has got class.
It would be even better if you choose to go in the evening hours as they have live music during dinner.
The décor is sophisticated. There is no chance that you would get to see the bling decoration, which most of the restaurants try to put up these days.
One gets to choose from an immense variety. The multi cuisine menu has captured the taste of several delicacies, one rarely gets to see. It offers a good set of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes.  Being staunch vegetarians, we looked only at the former part of the menu.
Latitude offers great drinks and does serve alcohol as well.
It was a Sunday afternoon and the Sunday brunch was on. The cost was Rs. 999/person including unlimited beer and soft drinks/juices.
After running our eyes through the menu, we ordered Paneer Lababdar and Subz Melone with some bread for lunch.
Before serving lunch, they offered complementary bread and butter. Not to miss: it tasted exactly just like what freshly made breads should. Marvelous!  They were pretty generous with the complementary stuff until we asked them to stop!
The service is excellent and the best part of it is that it is quick! They serve a generous quantity considering the price of their food. And should not I miss out on this that they are even more generous with its taste.
Within no time, the blessed moment came. The steward was there with my hot and delicious dishes. Paneer Lababdar is rich cottage cheese in tomato gravy with little pieces of ginger and garlic. Do not be upset at the sound of ginger and garlic, because they have an added sense of sophistication here.  Mind you, they taste heavenly. The quantity is good for two people.
Subz Melone is assorted vegetables in spinach gravy. The vegetables would be beans, baby corn and carrots in majority. This sort of vegetable was new to me. It was a time for me having veggies in spinach gravy, apart from Palak Paneer. And now that I have mentioned Palak Paneer, I request you to never confuse the taste Subz Melone with Palak Paneer. The dish served at this restaurant keeps the name of the restaurant high. It has an exceptionally good taste.
The restaurant accepts credit cards. The cost of meal for two would be approximately Rs. 1500, which is if one includes starters and dessert along with lunch. It does not include alcoholic drinks.
The toilets are clean as a dove.
I would love to visit this part of the town once again.
My rating for this restaurant would be 4.5 out of 5.
